Phoetry

A Girl by Ezra Pound

The tree has entered my hands,

The sap has ascended my arms,

The tree has grown in my breast-
Downward,
The branches grow out of me, like arms.
Tree you are,Moss you are,You are violets with wind above them.
A child - so high - you are,And all this is folly to the world.
A child - so high - you are,And all this is folly to the world.

Narrative Picture

This picture of an underage girl smoking a cigarette, it shows a sense of rebellion. The picture tells a story of despair and the want for attention. This picture also shows the aging in society, little girls and boys want to grow up so fast and be like adults. The lighting makes the little girl stand out, and everything else is kind of blurred. I also feel the black and white added to the picture, it makes you feel more gloomy and and no color takes away from the subject.
